We welcome those seeking something more in life, wanting to explore Christian faith, looking for a deeper connection with God and with people, and hoping to find a place that feels like home. We are a church ever seeking to grow in faith and faithfulness as a response to God’s love for us in Jesus Christ.
We value the presence of children in worship and offer a Time With Children each week. Little ones are invited to stay in worship or go to the nursery or to the Cherub Music Time. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers throughout the morning. Education classes for ages three through adults are offered at 9:00 am during the school year. All are welcome.
Advent, the Christian season of preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ, runs from November 29 to Christmas Day. Join us as we watch and wait, hope and pray in anticipation of Christ’s coming into the world. The staff and choirs have recorded traditional Christmas carols to help our young ones learn the songs that beautifully tell the story of Christmas. The music is also available on this website for your enjoyment. Everyone is invited to join us on Christmas Eve at the 5:00 pm family service which includes a pageant, or at the candlelight service at 10:00 pm. An informal Christmas day service is held at 10:00 am. On December 27 we will again welcome harpist Robyn Gordon-Cartier who will present Christmas music for all to enjoy.
On December 5 our church is hosting the Dash Away 5K and One Mile Fun Walk to raise money for mission causes. You can sign up to run, walk, or volunteer at Dash Away 5K.
Throughout the year, Pennington Presbyterian promises great opportunities for children, youth, and adults to grow in faith, connect with people, and make a real difference in the world. We hope this website provides you a taste of our mission and ministries, and that you will be hungry to learn and experience more.
