We so welcome those seeking something more in life, wanting to explore Christian faith, looking for a deeper connection with God and with people, and hoping to find a place that feels like home. We are a church ever seeking to grow in faith and in faithfulness as a response to God’s love for us in Jesus Christ.
We have wonderful worship experiences planned for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter morning.
- Maundy Thursday: Dinner with Holy Communion at 6:00 pm in Heritage Hall followed by creative and meditative prayer stations in Upper Titus and the Sanctuary.
- Good Friday: Ecumenical service at noon at St. Matthew’s Episcopal and at our church, “Jesus’ Last Words: A Service of Shadows and Stones” in Upper Titus at 7:30 pm.
- Easter Sunrise: Celebrate the Son’s rising with the rising sun at 6:30 am at Rosedale Park. We will sing and pray and celebrate communion in the midst of God’s beautiful creation. Dress is casual. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket and a friend or neighbor. After worship our Deacons will host a continental breakfast in Heritage Hall.
- Easter Festival Worship: Proclaim the good, good news for all the world to hear: “Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!” 10:15 am in the sanctuary. The service will include special music, prayers, scripture, sermon, and communion amid the beauty of Easter flowers. Invite a friend. Surveys show that many who never attend church don’t go because nobody has ever asked them and they don’t want to sit alone. You can fix that!
Throughout the year, Pennington Presbyterian promises great opportunity for children, youth, and adults to grow in faith, connect with people, and make a real difference in the world. I hope this website provides you a taste of our mission and ministries, and that you will be hungry to learn and experience more.
