We welcome those seeking something more in life, wanting to explore Christian faith, looking for a deeper connection with God and with people, and hoping to find a place that feels like home. We are a church ever seeking to grow in faith and faithfulness as a response to God’s love for us in Jesus Christ.
We value the presence of children in worship and offer a Time With Children each week. Little ones are invited to stay in worship or go to the nursery or to the Cherub Music Time. Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers throughout the morning.
Education classes for ages three through adults are offered at 9:00 am during the school year. This fall we kicked off a thirty week adult Bible study called “Kerygma Discovering the Bible: A New Generation.” Another adult education series is titled “Thoughtful Christianity”. All are welcome.
This October, we welcome two guest preachers to our church. On October 4, World Communion Sunday, Rev. Dr. Marcell Sass from Germany will be our preacher. The Rev. Dr. Craig Barnes, President of Princeton Theological Seminary, will preach on October 18.
Beginning on World Communion Sunday, October 4, we will begin praying for each nation and people one at a time. This is an opportunity for us to acknowledge God’s love for the whole world, and to pray intentionally for people around the globe. With over two hundred countries, we will not complete this process until sometime in 2019. Each Sunday a world map will help you locate the country of the week.
Throughout the year, Pennington Presbyterian promises great opportunities for children, youth, and adults to grow in faith, connect with people, and make a real difference in the world. We hope this website provides you a taste of our mission and ministries, and that you will be hungry to learn and experience more.
