Youth Ministries

Youth need a place to connect.

The youth ministry at Pennington Presbyterian Church connects youth (6th-12th grade) with Jesus Christ, the community of Christ, and the mission of Christ. This happens as youth worship, learn, serve, and hang out together. We are passionate creating a variety of spaces for young people to learn and grow in faith, welcoming questions, and challenges along the way.

Education Hour

Students in grades 6-12 meet for Sunday School at 9am from September through May. The teachers guide the class using a new curriculum from the PC(USA) called “Follow Me: Biblical Practices for Faithful Living.”

Students are encouraged to learn while they lead in various areas of the church’s worship life including Tech, Music, Worship, and Hospitality.

Youth Group

Students in grades 6-12 are all welcome to the PPC Youth Group. Our time together includes bible study, topical conversation, music, games, and activities. We believe all of these components work together to enrich our faith formation. We participate in mission projects and special events to serve our community, and to build our relationships with God and with each other. The PPC Youth Group meets most Sundays at varying times.
