Our theme during the summer of 2014 was “PPC in the World.” What we do in the church is connected with what we do in the world. A common charge given to Christians at the end of a worship service is, “Go forth to love and serve the Lord!” Everyone was invited to send us a photo of yourself “in the world.” Here is what some of us were doing.
- Jack and Karen Australia
- Peter in Copenhagen
-
Rachel and Lauren picking strawberries at
Honeybrook Organic Farm, Pennington
- Elizabeth in front of Colton Chapel on the Lafayette College campus
- Bob in front of Colton Chapel on the Lafayette College campus
- Israel/Palestine Trip Group
- Miriam and Phil hiking at Worlds End State Park, Pennsylvania
- Larry and Madeleine Mansier with their son Lawrence and grandsons Weston (11) and Lucas (6) at a Trenton Thunder game.
- The Thorntons got to visit the Pacific northwest for the first time. This is Rob, Rachel, and Lauren looking over Cannon Beach, Oregon from Ecola State Park. The misty rocky beach is very different from the Atlantic coast.
- Gordon in Finland
- Debbie Ryan at Washington Crossing Theater
- Scott and I were in Norway recently. One of the days we followed the “Trollstigen”, or Pathway of the Trolls. This photo was taken near the top.
