We’re safe and sound at the end of good, long Sunday that started with worship at St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church in Ibellin.  After the service we were extended wonderful hospitality.  Following lunch we took a bus high into the green hills of northern Galilee with Archbishop Elias Chacour.  He made one of our preparation books, Blood Brothers, come alive with vivid details and remembrances as we visited the ruins of his native village.

On the way back to Ibellin, we stopped for an amazing dinner and enjoyed the scenic return, this time highlighted by a beautiful sunset and stunning views of the Sea of Galilee.

Tomorrow, Monday, we will be wrapping things up here at the school, and look forward to flying home overnight from Tel Aviv to Newark.
